The Nintendo difference is becoming more and more obvious this gen. This video I discuss the completely different approach in gaming between the "hardcore" consoles and the Wii U.

PSO C.A.R.D Revolution Needs A Sequel
Back in the Gamecube days, I owned a little game titles Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D Revolution, and it was pretty addictive. The game was basically Phantasy Star Online but as a grid based strategy RPG using Cards. The play had a choice between playing as the Heroes which summoned weapons, or the Arkz which summoned monsters. The purpose was to attack your opponent directly and take all of his/her hit points. The game was pretty solid albeit dated graphically, but thats exactly why we need a sequel.
PSO C,A,R.D Revolution had a versus mode but it had one major gamebreaking flaw if you wanted to play against another human opponent, rather than alongside them. The game was cardbased, and all of your cards were clearly visible onscreen as you take turns in versus mode. This can easily be remedied in a sequel, because if they release it for the Wii U, the players will have their own screens. Also if they release it on the 3DS, the players also have their own screens with less incentive to look atthe other's screen to cheat. My question is why isn't this game already in development? Is there really nobody at SEGA who looked at the Wii U and thought "hey this word be perfect for C.A.R.D Revolution"? Nobody? Or has nobody at Nintendo noticed this and said "Get SEGA on the phone!"
I would love to see a sequel to this with online gameplay returning (yes it was an online Gamecube game), more weapons, and some kind of miiverse connectivuty and leaderboards. I know it would happen, but a guy can dream, right?

Just some random gameplay
Just a little bit of Warriors Orochi gameplay for no real reason. I just felt like playing as Hyabusa to show my brother how his character controls in this game. I'll probably post more with other characters. There's well over 100 characters in the game, so be ready

2015 looking forward
Well, I'm going into this new year with some ideas in motion. First of all, I want to start bavk up my daily videos blogs on youtube, and defintely want to be utilizing Twitch a lot more to get my gaming content out there. Alongside my daily video, I'll aim to put out daily blogpost as well. I have tones of ideas for articles for both my Game Corner and Anime Pub coming in 2015. I'm also trying out Loot Crate for the first time ever in January. The idea of having a box of random cool stuff sent to me every month actually sounds like an awesome idea. Theres another subscribe box i'm looking into, but I'm a very careful; person, so i'm still looking into reviews and videos for this one.
As for the gaming side of things, its no surprise to anybody that I'm a Nintendo fan. I'll defintely be posting more articles about gaming in general and Nintendo as a company. I have literally talked former Vice President of E-Stranged, Kashihime, to sleep several times ranting about gaming. So I figured why waste my words on somebody who doesn't know the first thing about gaming when I can just blog about it instead. Topic to look forward to include Why Nintendo should not become a 3rd party, Why creativity is dying, How indies can save the industry, and The death of the graphic whore gamer. So I will be flooding the blogs with content in the months to come.
The anime portion will be seeing big things as well. If you've been following me around the net, you know that I'm now a member of Anime3000, and I frequently appear on the A3K podcast. As well as all of the projects I'll be doing with A3K, I'm going to be doing some of my own personal projects and even contests where I give away DVDs and boxsets. admittedly I've been slacking on my anime due to work, but I've been filling the void with manga, which is a little easier to multitask with if i do say so myself. I've started on the Pokemon manga, because for some reason I've never read it before, and I've nearly finished Shaman King and I hate 4Kids more than ever now. I hope everyone really enjoys all of the content I provide in this coming year as I kick production into overdrive.
For those who just like to keep up with my personal life, I'm planning a vacation very soon. I'm in the process of getting my passport so that I can leave the country for the first time ever in my life and visit beautiful Thailand. My wife-to-be wants me to visit her homeland and meet her family before anything big like a wedding takes place. I'll be sure to post an abundance of photos from my travels and keep everyone posted via the Facebook fanpage, Twitter, and Instagram. If you're looking for me on either of those, the name is AWBrawler across all three services. Thats all I have for this post, so until next time. Be you. Be true. Be human.
